Volunteer managers play a crucial role. They are responsible for nurturing relationships with the heart and soul of any non-profit organization: its volunteers. But in a fast-paced world with limited resources, managers face significant challenges in recruiting, retaining and nourishing productive relationships with great volunteers. That’s why Volunteer Wood Buffalo has created Volunteer Manager in a Box, to help address these challenges and assist managers in succeeding. From templates to conversation models, this excellent resource is a one-stop reference guide for non-profits in the community.
Volunteer Manager in a Box is an online resource available for free to all non-profits who are registered members of Volunteer Wood Buffalo. Printed copies are also available for a nominal fee to cover printing and materials costs. If you would like a printed copy please contact our office. Non-members can also access the resource for a small fee.
Volunteer Manager in a Box is YOUR project, too. Volunteer Wood Buffalo welcomes submissions, conversations and all forms of collaboration regarding current or desired content. Please feel free to use the templates or customize the materials to meet your own organization’s needs.
